Following last year’s hugely successful appearance, Hastings Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Marcio da Silva make a welcome return to Battle joined by soloists Susanne Stanzeleit and Andrew Fuller.

The programme features many favourites of the repertoire, such as Grieg’s “Holberg Suite”, Schubert Rondo for Violin and Orchestra and Vivaldi Double Concerto. The showstopper of the evening will be Jacques Cohen’s celebrated arrangement for string orchestra of “Pictures at an Exhibition” by Mussorgsky.
