An extraordinary world première combining the words of Tennyson’s eternally moving poem “Enoch Arden” with the piano score composed by Richard Strauss interspersed with the D.W.Griffith silent film from 1911.

A classic story of love and tragedy which was hugely popular in the second half of the 19th and first half of the 20th century set to a rich piano score and turned into an iconic silent film.
